You will learn camera, lighting, scriptwriting, sound recording, editing and other techniques, and will work in a team producing programmes including documentaries and drama. You will also learn about film analysis, prepare for a seminar, and write about films. We will provide help with note taking, writing skills and research. You work independently and in small groups. After initial training, you will organise yourselves and operate like a small film/video company.

Following the course, you can progress to Higher Education courses or work in a television studio, production company, cable or satellite TV, community media and arts projects.
