Our Accountancy and Business course provides a real insight into two challenging and exciting disciplines. You’ll learn how the two subjects work together in the current environment, how they impact on each other and how to use both in the workplace. We set you real-life business projects so you can gain valuable and practical experience, which has seen former students move into roles with companies such as AXA, AF Blackmore & Son and NCH Europe. The practical nature of the course ensures you’ll have the skills you need to succeed upon graduating. The option of a year’s placement will also make you highly desirable to employers. We’ll teach you how to be successful in the areas of finance, tax and accounting, as well as equipping you with an understanding of the wider aspects of running and managing a successful business. You’ll also gain valuable experience through our Employability Challenge Weeks, as well as our Leadership Challenge programme. Both give you the chance to apply your skills to innovative and exciting projects, industry talks and workshops. You’ll also receive guidance on how to complete application forms and how to write effective CVs. Many of our modules involve group evaluations, presentations, reports and business plans to help you strengthen your communication and teamwork, as well as your problem-solving, creativity and data analysis.
