The main objectives of the Computer Engineering program are to: Provide graduates with the in-depth knowledge and skills needed in designing, implementing, and managing computer engineering projects. To educate students to apply computer engineering principles and techniques to the design, development, evaluation and maintenance of hardware and software. To provide students with knowledge of the Hardware/Software interface so as to enable them to understand and apply the basic principles of computer engineering to design and implement systems and applications. To produce graduates who understand ethical, legal, and social implications of computer engineering projects. To prepare students for employment in a variety of challenging professional environments, and for admission to post-baccalaureate education.
