This course gives professionals working in logistics, supply chain management and operations management the skills to manage the flow of materials and information within and between organisations and other relevant stakeholders. Students will learn how to diagnose existing processes and supply chains and how to implement a supply chain strategy within an organisation. Skills and capabilities are developed on topics such as forecasting, sales and operational planning and procurement to name a few. In today’s world, it is not a company competing against another company; it is a company’s supply chain competing against another company’s supply chain. If you have a Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering, Maths or IT and are interested in learning how to implement a supply chain strategy within an organisation and develop skills in forecasting, production and service planning, then this is the right course for you. If you have already completed an undergraduate in Project Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related area, you may receive credit for recognition of prior learning for this course. Students who are interested in studying a two-year option should consider the Master of Science (Logistics / Project Management). If you do not meet the direct entry requirements for this course may consider the Graduate Certificate in Business as a pathway option. Why study this course?
