Course Description

The International Graduate Certificate in Science is for students wishing to upgrade their qualifications with a view to pursuing a career in science research in academia or private industry. The course addresses some of the major topical issues in modern science in the international arena and their impact on society. The degree also gives you a foundation for further study in science and is an ideal preparation for entry into the International Master of Science, Master of Science or Master of Science and Management. Your degree: You will be taught to integrate and apply knowledge about concepts and principles in the discipline of Science and its relation to the international context; review, analyse and synthesise information to identify and solve science questions and problems; communicate ideas about current issues and applied research related to global issues in Science; and manipulate, summarise and communicate scientific data. What you study: The program comprises three compulsory subjects: Fundamentals of Science Communication Fundamentals of Science Laboratories (SCIE912)** Global Perspectives in Science.
