Business can be combined with any other subject in the Combined Studies programme, adding workplace-relevant skills and enhancing your employability. After a broad-based module on 'Core Business Skills', you can choose modules related to different functions such as accounting, marketing, financial management, operations management, commercial law and Human Resources. Personal self-development is a strand that runs through many of our modules. Nine out of ten business students say that their communication skills have improved as a result of their course, according to the National Student Survey. If you select business as a dual route, you can decide in which of your two subjects you'd like to undertake a dissertation/major project. You will be taught by experienced tutors who provide a supportive learning environment. According to The Guardian University Guide 2013, nine out of ten of our students are satisfied with their course in business and management. We have invested heavily in facilities and 91% of our business students agree that library resources and services are good enough for their needs, according to the National Student Survey.
