This is a career-oriented programme that will allow you to gain a strong foundation in key areas of molecular biological sciences and develop a wide range of scientific skills to prepare you for employment or for further study. The programme has a strong emphasis on hands-on practical work, and one quarter of the assessment in the first two years is practical based. In addition, there is a student-led project in the final year. The programme can be studied full or part-time and may include a sandwich year in industry.
