Accounting and Finance BA (Hons)

Course Description

3 years (4 years with work placement) Full Time In a world that seems to always be facing rapid change one of the few constants is the need for all organisations and business to have a clear understanding of their financial position. This applies from the smallest to the largest of enterprises and across all sectors. The Accounting and Finance course is underpinned by a broad base of general management modules, which are then built upon by studying more specialist accounting and finance topics. This combination of subject areas will provide you with a strong foundation to become a competent financial manager. A key benefit of studying with us at Chichester is that you will be taught in small class sizes (containing typically 20-25 students) where you are encouraged to interact both with your fellow students as well as the academic staff. The Bognor Regis campus has recently received considerable investment in both its infrastructure and learning resources. The town adjoining the campus is on the South coast of England and has a direct train service to central London with a typical journey time of one hour fifty minutes. Our BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance programme is officially accredited by the ACCA (The Chartered Association of Certified Accountants). Students will be eligible for exemption from four of the professional bodies exams (technically F1 to F4)
