Fundraising for the arts requires a broad skills base and the Arts Development element of your programme is carefully designed to build your knowledge and confidence so that you can fund your arts based project, or work as a fundraiser more broadly. It also understands that the arts have a vital role to play in building healthy happy societies and explores their support for the charitable sector through communications, fundraising and community events. The digital film element of your programme provides real links to the journalistic side of Media Studies, with its practical based work linking students directly to producers. Students here will be among a wide variety of musicians, dancers, composers, scriptwriters and film makers, which will help develop skills in team work, production and filming.
