On this course you will study dramatic texts with renowned critics, as well as writing scripts for the stage, for radio and for the screen. Members of our staff have written drama texts for television, the stage, and radio, and others have worked in the production of plays for the theatre. The course enables students to learn through the study and experience of emergent trends in contemporary media cultures. We encourage learning within a context that encompasses a wide range of subjects and types of study, with an emphasis on preparing students for work in the media, cultural industries and beyond.

We want you to become an independent, self-motivated writer, critic and thinker. The skills you will obtain in this degree are particularly well suited to work with film production companies, TV production studios, radio outlets, newspapers, PR firms and advertising agencies.
