This is a studio-based program which provides a fourth year of intensive study that introduces the student to formal research in the Creative Arts. Students will participate in a tutorial / seminar program involving discussion and criticism relating to research issues in the Creative Arts. The program provides for creative research outcomes evidenced as follows: - The studio component is the practical studio investigation that is examined by exhibition or performance; - Practical studio investigation is supported by an exegesis of no less than 5,000 words, which explains, elaborates or illuminates the practical studio component.

Career Opportunities Graduates work as professional artists and performers, graphic designers, within the creative arts industries more broadly, and as consultants to the arts industry, government bodies and general industry.
