Accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science This course offers a practical approach to studying the life processes of health, disease, treatment and prevention. You will learn about the fundamentals of life from cell biology and immunology to the relationship between nutrition and health. The course is accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS). You will gain experience in laboratory practices, instrumentation and analytical techniques.

Our graduates can work in different areas of biomedical sciences such as microbiology, haematology, immunology, cellular sciences, drug discovery, genetics or neuroscience. You may also work in various roles within the NHS or choose further study at postgraduate level.
