Study 3,000 years of history, from ancient Greece to Britain in the 20th century. You will cover a full range of historical periods and societies and develop an excellent understanding of the contemporary world. Right from the beginning of your course, you will learn to question and decipher narratives about historical events, and will assess why history is constantly being rewritten. The freedom to explore a full variety of human societies and environments is complemented in this course by the flexibility to pursue your own academic interests.
