Course length: One year FT/Two years FT + placement/Two years PT. The overall aim of this course is to provide graduates with advanced level education in the principles of computer science. It will develop your knowledge and skills in the use of suitable programming languages and their development environments for the production of efficient software solutions. Equally important, it will provide you with knowledge of computer technology, architecture and digital communications as a means to developing computer-based systems in industrial and business environments. Through the study of a suitable MSc project you will have the opportunity to develop a specialism in a technologically advanced area relevant to the computing industry and you will be equipped to be an independent learner who can analyse the requirements for computing applications, evaluate tools and solutions and who can work creatively in this area.
