Course length: One year full-time (45 weeks), Two years part-time. This course has been created in response to the rise of the global animation industry. It will help you to take your work to the next level, whether you're already working commercially or as an artist, progressing from undergraduate study or reassessing your career. You’ll develop a sophisticated academic, technical and creative understanding, and an industry-standard portfolio. At the start of the course you'll devise your own project, and choose one of two outcomes; practice or a dissertation. We'll provide you with an academic, creative and experimental environment in which you can explore the visual and narrative elements of this dynamic art form. A specialist supervisor will guide and support you in developing your project. If you choose to study this course on a part-time basis we'll provide you with a flexible learning environment, including online learning rooms and discussion groups. Application deadline: Applications should normally be received by the end of July for entry in September. Overseas applicants must take into account the time required to apply for a visa (if applicable) before applying for an MA course.
