Get specialist skills in the electrical trades and prepare yourself to become a registered electrician. Build on your skills and knowledge in electrical principles, wiring, machines and regulations and develop PLC programming skills. On graduating from Level 4, and with work-experience, you'll be able to sit your exams to become registered electrician. At MIT you'll spend a lot of time in our well-equipped electrical engineering workshops. Our expert teachers work closely with industry training organisations such as The Skills Organisation and electricians which means you keep pace with current technologies and could be referred to apprenticeships. Because we teach industry standards we'll prepare you to eventually become a registered electrician with opportunities to work in homes and factories, and on tools, machinery and production lines in factories, or to run your own business.
