You will study four specialist, advanced units from a regularly updated range on offer. Different units are available from year to year to ensure flexible study patterns. We are a member of the Oracle Academy and highly rated in terms of research. Our supervision and facilities are also excellent. Wide-ranging course units combine with a flexible approach which allows students to undertake practical project work while attending work placements. With one-third of the course project-based, it may be possible to undertake yours in collaboration with an external organisation or within the School. The part-time route is especially suitable if you have industry experience and wish to update your knowledge. Especially useful in the case of missed classes, the online virtual learning environment, Moodle, provides extensive access to lectures, course materials and assessment information. Assessment will be through coursework, examination and dissertation. Placement options Some students undertake practical work for their projects while working in organisations which have offered placement opportunities.
