The Foundation Year provides a route onto a degree if you don’t have the qualifications, or have not studied advanced level subjects sufficiently related to your course of choice, but have the ability to study a degree. Each Foundation Year is part of a specific degree course available at our Cheshire campus in Crewe. You can apply for a 4 year full time degree including the Foundation Year.

Social science disciplines lend themselves to a wide range of graduate occupations. Many graduates pursue careers in local government, housing, family care, charities and social work, as well as in the established criminal justice system such as the police, prison and probation. Graduates also go into administration and managerial jobs.
