International business explores the economic and political contexts in which companies around the world operate, covering a diverse range of countries and regions. In French, emphasis is placed on communicating effectively and developing transferable skills such as translating, interpreting, and interview techniques and practical language classes embrace speaking, listening, reading and writing. If you take French as a major or equal subject you will be required to spend your third year abroad; this could be a study or work placement or a British Council assistantship. After this year, you return to MMU to study for your final year. If French is your minor subject the course will be three years with no period of residence abroad.
