This ‘top-up’ degree builds on your existing qualifications. The full-time route is available to international students and the accelerated 12-month part-time route is suitable for UK/EU students who have a HND, FD or equivalent. This is a versatile business degree and you take core units in: corporate financial management; crosscultural management; and professional and academic development. The professional and academic development unit is case-study based and enables you to apply your knowledge to real-life business issues. Features & benefits of the course If you have a Higher National Diploma, Foundation Degree or acceptable alternative, you can use this course to 'top-up' to a degree. International students study full-time for 12 months. UK and EU students study via an innovative part-time route and complete their studies in 12 months. Five pathways are offered: finance, human resource management, information technology, international business and marketing. The programme adopts innovative teaching methods which are supported by online resources, podcasting and video links. All students on this award are new to the Business School,so the course is tailored to your needs in adjusting to final year study.

Graduates with broad-based degrees in business and management or specialist business degrees are well positioned to apply for a range of opportunities in the private or public sector. Previous graduates have gone into employment in a wide range of management positions in industry, management commerce, banking, finance, manufacturing and the public sector while many others have entered graduate training schemes with international companies such as IBM, Credit Suisse and BMW.
