The Contemporary Arts Practice MA course will simultaneously support and encourage you to develop your own practice in relation to your respective discipline and also in relation to a broader contemporary discourse. Once you have progressed from certificate level to diploma level, you will be encouraged to align yourself with one of the pathways depending on your own particular interests. Pathways you can follow include Fine Art, Media Arts and Digital Arts.

Depending on your pathway choice you can expect to by the end of your studies to be equipped for professions such as exhibiting artists, curatorial practice, arts consultancy, education, digital entertainment and new media industries. Employment opportunities exist in the cultural industries. You will also be better placed to pursue a career as a practising professional artist.
