This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to pursue these opportunities. On this course you will be taught the intricacies of aircraft systems, the various types of system failure and how we can prevent failure in aircraft design. You will be provided with the vital skills needed to work as an aerospace engineer working for an airline or the military. These skills include problem solving, creativity and innovation, leadership, team working, business acumen and ensuring quality. To do this you will work on fantastic equipment including a Harrier Jump Jet, Flight Simulation Suite and the Mercedes Patronas Wind Tunnel. You will challenge current methodologies and techniques to transform the future of the global aeronautical industry.

The course aims to produce graduates with the skills to become successful engineers and engineering managers, both in aerospace and the wider engineering context. Previous graduates have gone on to become aircraft engineering officers (both military and civil), design engineers, quality engineers and engineering managers for a wide variety of companies. Students have also become pilots and worked in the whole spectrum of aerospace careers.
