This programme is designed to accommodate students with different educational backgrounds and learning styles. Students will be given the opportunity to acquire intellectual understanding and learn new perspective within their chosen field specialism and gain a New Zealand Diploma in Business (level 6) qualification. This programme consists of eight compulsory courses which are constructed in a modular basis. Over the full one year study, students must have successfully completed all eight courses. Four courses relate to core knowledge and skills and four courses relate to the specific knowledge, understanding, skills and attitudes required to fulfil the graduate outcomes of each strands. This programme focuses on strategic management level and has two strands: (a) Accounting and (b) Leadership and Management.
