This programme is intended to provide business students with the opportunity to acquire an intellectual understanding and a wide variety of personal and technical skills, learn new perspective and to think both critically and creatively within chosen specialisms, as well as gain New Zealand Diploma in Business (Level 5) qualification. The courses enable the students to prepare a solid groundwork for learners to enter into the workforce or pursue their studies at a higher level. It therefore offers the flexibility needed in responding to the broad spectrum of relevant contents. This programme consists of eight compulsory courses which are constructed on a modular basis. Over the full one year study, students must have successfully completed all eight courses of which 4 are core courses and 4 are specialised courses. This programme focuses on operational management and has two strands: (a) Accounting and (b) Leadership and Management.
