Confederation College’s Business Accounting two-year diploma program is designed for students who want to develop the skills and knowledge needed for an entry-level accounting position. The program gives you a great foundation to continue building your studies towards your CPA professional accounting designation or your CPA Advanced Certificate in Accounting and Finance. You’ll learn the basics of accounting principles and finance and prepare for the business world with courses in business law and ethics, microeconomics and macroeconomics, marketing essentials and business communications. Special emphasis will be given on using various software systems so that you are trained to work in real-world offices.

Graduates of the two-year Business Accounting program find jobs in a variety of private and public sector positions including Accounting Clerk, Accounting Assistant, credit and collections, Accounts Payable Clerk and Accounts Receivable Clerk.
