In the Mechanical Engineering Technology – Industrial program, students will learn engineering theory and practice in the manufacturing and production of mechanical equipment. Basic engineering and science skills as well as more specialized subjects relating to modern manufacturing and production processes, will be covered. The Mechanical Engineering Technology - Industrial program courses will also include computer-assisted drafting and manufacturing (CAD/CAM), which are used widely in the industry today. Co-op Option This Mechanical Engineering Technology – Industrial program features a co-op component. Academically-qualified students enhance their education by working three terms as paid employees in the field. The experience not only allows students to put classroom learning into practice, but also provides valuable networking contacts for future careers.
