This program covers the skills and knowledge required for a detail draftsperson producing specialist engineering drawings within an engineering or manufacturing work environment. CIT’s Diploma of Engineering (Technical) gives you the skills for career opportunities as a draftsperson, an engineering assistant or technical officer. Throughout this course you will gain skills and knowledge in basic principles of engineering design drafting work and applying elements of engineering design. Students will receive guidance and instruction from experts in the field of engineering including hands-on practical learning through classes and laboratories and workshop experiences.
