In Information Studies, research is done in order to answer such questions. A central theme is the relationship between humans and information and communication technology (ICT). As a student of Information Studies, you will occupy yourself with multimedia, the social effects of computer science and the use of ICT in business organisations. Information Studies combines insights from the social sciences, economics, psychology and computer science into its own discipline. You will learn how and why organisations and society build up, maintain, exchange and sometimes screen knowledge.
