With our Accounting and Finance Two-year Fast-track degree, you'll cover the same number of modules as your three-year counterparts, but you'll gain the qualities and skills valued by the accounting, finance and business sectors more quickly. You'll follow the same programme of study as students on the three-year degree during the first two teaching blocks. You'll then study through blended learning (a mixture of distance learning and face-to-face delivery) - covering both introductory and intermediate levels in your first year. You'll cover three teaching blocks in Year 2, gaining research and analysis skills in preparation for an independent research project. Presentations from guest speakers, networking opportunities and guidance from major professional bodies are all part of the course. You'll be taught by qualified accountants and published academics. And you'll also have the chance to complete a placement year with organisations such as Staffordshire County Council, NHS and IBM.
