Learn the barbering skills and techniques required to start your career in barbering and practise on real clients in our commercial salon. As well as daytime lessons, you'll need to come into College one evening a week or on a Saturday. You'll learn how to: Advise and consult with clients Make a positive impression Shampoo, condition and treat the hair and scalp Change hair colour Style and finish hair Cut hair using basic techniques Promote additional services or products to clients.

You could broaden your range of skills by going on to a Level 2 course in hairdressing, take up an apprenticeship or start your career as a barber.
