This course is ideal if you want to develop your accounting knowledge to an advanced level. You'll build on the skills acquired at Level 2 and get specialist training in financial and management accounting, recording and analysis of costs and revenues, operation of cash management and credit control systems. You'll also develop key functional skills in numeracy and IT.

You could apply for jobs as a section leader in a large organisation or as a senior bookkeeper in a smaller organisation. You could also act as treasurer to clubs and voluntary societies. You could progress further in your career and continue to the AAT Level 4.
