This is a Bachelors Degree awarded by HTMi Switzerland through a 2+2 arrangement with RIG Institute of Hospitality & Management. We have a twinning course in collaboration with HTMi for our students who will take admission specifically for this programme in the first year. They will study for two years in RIG Institute at the Indian fees. They will transfer to HTMi in the third year during which they will earn Higher Diploma in International Hotel and Tourism Management, studying in the HTMi campus for one semester of five months and do industrial training (called business internship in Europe) in Switzerland for the second semester of five months. This will reduce their fee burden and will also enable them to earn wages at the Swiss rates. These students will enter their fourth year of studies in HTMi to earn their degree of B.Sc. in International Hotel & Tourism Management. Those who do not wish to pursue the studies in the fourth year or are unable to do so for some reason will still get their Higher Diploma in International Hotel & Tourism Management in third year which will be their first year in Switzerland. Those who go for B.Sc. will also work for one semester in the industry and do academic studies for one semester. All students who opt for this twinning programme will get a scholarship of Swiss Francs 5000 (Rs. 2,70 lacs at the current exchange rate) for every year spent in HTMi, from RIG Institute. They will get opportunity to do internship in Switzerland for one year out of two years in HTMi which will greatly reduce the burden of fees for the students.
