This is a degree programme in hotel management where the degree is being awarded by IGNOU. This degree programme is similar to degree of hotel management awarded by National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology of Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India. All the IHMs like Pusa give this degree. The 3 year degree course has five academic semesters and one semester of industry training which is arranged in reputed hotels in India. The curriculum will include 10 subjects of American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI, USA) which covers all the key subjects of hotel management. The student will get 10 individual certificates for each subject and a Diploma in Hospitality Management from AHLEI, USA, apart from the degree from IGNOU. This course of BA – IHA has been started by IGNOU as a regular classroom course. It is not a distance learning programme. RIG Institute has been approved as Programme Centre of IGNOU for BA – IHA which was done after process of inspection and approval of our facilities, management and faculty.
