With a degree in event management, you could stage music festivals or arrange charitable fundraising dinners. You could plan weddings for an oceanfront hotel, or plan high-publicity sporting events. In class, you’ll learn about the food and resort industries and how to stage events of every size. You’ll take part in the innovative “Lynn Learning-in-Action” program, where you’ll actually plan and execute several events on campus. And for even more hands-on learning, you can get involved with a professional golf tournament or work with local event planning company. No matter what, you’ll have at least two internships before you graduate with your new business degree.
