Applied Chemistry is a two year Level 6 programme with the opportunity to progress to Level 7 and Level 8 honours degree level at LIT. This programme gives the student fundamental training in chemistry, analytical science, computers, biosciences and statistics. These skills will allow the Level 6 graduate to work at introductory level in any analytical laboratory. Most students progress to Level 8 degree level where additional laboratory practical and analytical skills are developed.
