The Biology program at Kutztown University prepares students for employment in their areas of specialization, for graduate work in biology, and for medical and other professional schools. The programs have strong lab components that emphasize student involvement and close student-faculty interaction. Students can major or minor in Biology.

Our graduates are successful: 85 percent are employed in biology-related jobs or advanced training. Students who graduate with a degree in biology can choose to further their education, or find employment opportunities in health care, health sciences, education, research and development for private companies and the government, and the biomedical sciences.
