Our accredited BArch degree provides the foundation for helping you design buildings for private, public and institutional use and leave your impact on the environment as a licensed architect, and it does so within five years—the least time possible. Earn internship hours to put toward your licensure requirement by securing a student internship domestically or abroad. You’ll participate in class trips to urban centers around the US to enhance your education while reinforcing the impact of architecture on the human condition, culture and the landscape. The Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) is an accredited, five-year professional degree providing the foundation for becoming a licensed architect as well as for continued study in a graduate program. It is accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB). Students complete the first-year Core Design Program before applying to the Bachelor of Architecture degree program. The architecture program admits 80 students annually. Design studios and studio culture are the fundamental components of our degree program. A registration certificate indicates that one has completed architectural school, spent the minimum required time as an intern-architect, and then passed a comprehensive examination designed to measure professional judgment and ability.
