At Hope the Criminal Justice major provides a foundational understanding of the causes, consequences and control of crime. It draws from a number of different disciplines, including psychology, communications, public administration, philosophy, political science, sociology, mathematics, and law. The program also includes a liberal arts curriculum that focuses on oral and written communication, leadership, critical thinking, and Biblical studies. The program is offered in conjunction with California State University, Fullerton, which is located right across the street from Hope. In this program, students take a blend of coursework from each university, resulting in a broad educational experience. The B.A. in Liberal Arts: Criminal Justice program is 122 units.
