The Exercise and Sport Science (ESS) major is a dynamic field where the classroom connects with the weight room, the ESS lab, gymnasium, and athletic fields to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to serve God effectively. Individuals who major in ESS not only care for themselves but find satisfaction in helping others attain or maintain an appropriate level of good health and leisure skills to enjoy effective lives at work, in ministry and at play.
