Criminology focuses on the causes and prevention of crime. Graduates work in the criminal justice system and community agencies. You will participate in a group research project with local agencies, plus combine subjects from sociology, Indigenous affairs and psychology.

This degree was developed in consultation with community organisations, Queensland Police, Corrective Services, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, Department of Communities, Education Queensland and local councils. Graduates are prepared for work in a variety of roles in criminal justice and community-based agencies concerned with social justice.
