Course Description

Biologists help us to better understand the needs of our planet and its inhabitants and to discover the solutions to the problems facing both. The Biological Sciences department at Binghamton University is designed for students to develop the ability to carry out scientific investigation, understand and critically evaluate biological information, discuss and communicate biological concepts accurately, effectively and concisely, and apply biological training to careers. Students can tailor their focus to cell and molecular biology or ecology and evolution. Our faculty support interdisciplinary programs in Evolutionary Studies (EvoS), integrative neuroscience and biochemistry.
