About Us
LIBT @ Brunel University (formally London International College of Business and Technology at Brunel University) is a for-profit college (owned and operated by Navitas Limited, an Australian-owned educational business) that operates under a formal agreement with Brunel University. The other colleges within the UK owned by Navitas is HIBT, at the University of Hertfordshire, CRIC at Anglia Ruskin University and ICWS at the University of Swansea. Courses at LIBT are usually delivered by lecturers and PhD students from the partner Schools at Brunel University. LIBT students complete a one or two-year university transfer programme and, subject to meeting the required progression criteria, transfer into the second year of Brunel University’s three-year undergraduate BSc degree programmes in Business & Management, Information Systems & Computing and Economics & Finance. In the 2006 International Graduate Student Insight Group (I-Graduate) survey, out of 38 UK Higher Education Institutions, including Cambridge University, Nottingham University, Durham University, Edinburgh University and Manchester University, LIBT, as an institution in its own right, was ranked joint 3rd for overall study experience.
