The aim of this programme is to take students with a prior knowledge of economics or the natural sciences and give them a thorough grounding in theoretical and applied finance. The course provides the essential postgraduate skills to those wishing to follow careers in applied or quantitative finance, as well as those wishing to pursue further research.

Our MSc in Finance will provide you with the essential postgraduate skills you need to follow a career in applied or quantitative finance. It will act as a stepping stone to a financial position in, for example, financial analysis, investment management or corporate finance. The Masters is also an ideal basis for progression to a PhD. Many of our students have gone on to forge careers in academia or central banks. Others have followed careers as investment analysts, financial advisers, and consultants in commercial banks, stockbrokers and other financial institutions.​​​
