The programme is based in the Department of Biology, which is one of the UK’s top-ranked biological sciences departments for both research and teaching. Staff in the Technology Facility, Centre for Immunology and Infection, and Department of Chemistry contribute teaching and research opportunities. Closely linked with the MSc in Post-genomic Biology, this course emphasises business and industrial skills via additional modules in Research and Technology Evaluation and Business and Leadership.
