Duration: Three years full-time; four years sandwich Organisations are rapidly changing places and the nature of leadership, and what leadership means in organisations, is also changing. For example, how does leadership happen in organisations? What does it look like? Is it one person or many? What are the challenges and how does leadership enable people and organisations to reach their potential? These are a few of the many ways leadership is explored. Although Leadership is one of the fastest growing fields in Higher Education it is not widely offered at undergraduate level in the UK. You will explore theories of leadership and leadership in practice through topical and cutting-edge modules such as, Coaching in Organisations, The Experience and Practice of Organisations and Organisational Leadership. The business and management focus provides context and a deeper understanding of organisational behaviour enabling you to specialise in leadership after your first year. Students value the flexible first year, diversity of modules, and the active world-class leadership research in the Faculty.
