Course Description

Duration: Three years full-time, four years sandwich As more buildings are created, existing ones need to be effectively managed. Working with a wide range of professionals and clients in the property and construction industry, building surveyors provide a varied portfolio of professional services. These can include project management, legal and technical advice, building surveys and reports, defect diagnosis and conservation issues, and design solutions for new build and refurbishment schemes. Covering aspects of design, construction and management for residential and commercial buildings; we ensure you are up to date on the latest developments such as the advancements in Building Information Modelling ( BIM) and its importance in a changing industry. You will gain an appreciation of the planning and conservation issues surveyors must consider and understand the procurement, legal and H&S issues thread through projects. Working with a wide range of professionals and clients in the property and construction industry, building surveyors provide a varied portfolio of professional services.
