MSc Accounting and Finance develops your understanding of advanced accounting together with finance topics and methods. Compulsory modules allow you to critically discuss many of the recent developments in both theoretical and empirical approaches to accounting and corporate finance. You are also able to pursue specialist interests with up to two optional modules. Furthermore, in order to prepare you for writing your dissertation, there is a full year module on research methodologies and methods, which includes both quantitative and qualitative approaches to empirical research. Although this is a self-contained course, if you successfully complete you will be encouraged to continue your academic studies by applying for a PhD. Please note that this course is also available on a part-time basis.
