The International Year One in Business Management route prepares international students for direct entry to the second year of a number of Business Management degrees. Core modules Core modules will improve your English skills and strengthen your mathematics skills. They will also introduce students to study skills such as time management, presentation, essay writing and information sourcing. Core modules list: English and Skills for University Study (ESUS) Study Skills in the British Environment Communication and Interpretation of Data Introduction to Economics Route modules Route modules will enable students to develop a deep understanding of the subject area that they would like to study their degree in. In this case you will mainly focus on Management specific subjects. Route modules list: Marketing: Theory and Practice 1 Introduction to Organisational Behaviour Introduction to Management Accounting Human Resource Strategy and Procedures Study Structure The course is three terms long. You will undertake directed study for 15 hours per week, and self study for 15 hours per week. Your progress will be assessed by a mixture of tests, course work, case study and exams.
