The Creative Arts course is an intensive route for international students preparing for degrees in Art & Design and Media. The course leads to degrees in Architecture, Computer Game Design, Fashion, Graphic Design, Illustration, Interior Design, Interactive Multimedia, Photography, Film and Animation. You will study core modules which are general skills subjects and route modules which are specific and important for your academic development in the Creative Arts field. Core modules Core modules will improve your English skills and strengthen your mathematics skills. They will also introduce students to study skills such as time management, presentation, essay writing and information sourcing. Another important core module is project study, which introduce students to project planning and development. Core modules list: English and Skills for University Study (ESUS) Study Skills in the British Environment Project Study - including Word Processing Skills Core Mathematics. Route modules Route modules on the other hand will enable students to develop a deep understanding of the subject area that they would like to study their degree in. For example, if you want to do a design degree, you will need to have a solid understanding of drawing or design history.
