Your career as a Civil Engineering Technician could include a wealth of diverse opportunities in both the public and private sectors, working in indoor and outdoor workplaces. With your Ontario College diploma, you may find exciting employment opportunities as a technician, estimator, or project co–ordinator. Your work may include preliminary and construction surveys, inspections on civil projects and other construction. Our graduates are prepared for positions in consulting engineering firms, construction companies, public utilities, municipal engineering and roads departments, and government departments. Your career may include roles as an AutoCAD technician, survey technician, materials tester, lab quality control technician, and construction specialist.
